<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately transmit gate signals without shifting a waveform by using a small number of cables from a control circuit part to a main circuit part and to prevent degradation of control performance as a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: For a power converter controller related to an embodiment, in a power converter including a main circuit part comprising a plurality of power semiconductor elements and a gate driving circuit for driving the plurality of power semiconductor elements and a control circuit part for generating gate signals to be inputted to the gate driving circuit, the control circuit part has means for encoding the gate signals in every generation cycle of the gate signals and means for code-transmitting the gate signals without being accompanied by clock signals in every generation cycle from the control circuit part to the main circuit part, and the gate driving circuit has means for restoring the gate signals in every generation cycle and supplying the restored gate signals to the plurality of power semiconductor elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
