<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element in which a thermal history and a coverage of a passivation film against foreign matter present on the organic electroluminescence element can be managed for each panel, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element comprises at least a translucent substrate, a first electrode layer, an organic light-emitting medium layer, a second electrode layer, and a passivation layer.
