<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for foam, which has high expansion ratio and is excellent in properties such as tensile strength, tear strength and compression set resistance after expansion. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for foam contains: a thermoplastic elastomer (A) having a side chain containing a nitrogen-containing hetero ring and a carbonyl group; and a thermally expandable microcapsule (B).
