<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device which can be lighted in case of power outage, while an influence on the design of a car can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator device 1-1 includes the car 2, an operation panel 3, a display panel 4, a display control device 5 and a power supply device 6 for the power outage. A user gets on and off the car 2. The operation panel 3 is used by the user at least to register a destination floor of the car, and is provided in the car. The display panel 4 displays operation information of the car 2 by lighting and is provided on the operation panel 3. The display control device 5 controls the lighting of the display panel 4. The power supply device 6 for the power outage supplies electricity to the display panel 4 at the time of the power outage.
