<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and an information processing method that facilitate retrieval of encrypted information at the recipient side as well as increasing confidentiality in delivery of the encrypted information. <P>SOLUTION: First information processing means comprises means for generating a pair of a public key and a private key, means for encrypting input information using the public key, means for transmitting the encrypted information and the public key to second information processing means, and means for outputting the public key and the private key to a physical medium. The second information processing means comprises means for storing the encrypted information transmitted from the first information processing means and the public key, associating them each other, means for retrieving the public key and the private key from the physical medium, means for reading out the encrypted information associated with the retrieved public key, and means for decrypting the encrypted information read out using the corresponding private key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
