<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for easily navigating for famous places, historic spots, sightseeing spots, restaurants, event spots, etc., introduced in television programs using an electronic program timetable. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic program guide (EPG) server distributes the famous places, historic spots, sightseeing spots, restaurants, event spots, etc., introduced in television programs as detailed information for each the program, as data of the EPG loaded in a navigation device of a moving body, to the EPG. A keyword associated with specific positional information on the famous places, historic spots, etc., is extracted from the detailed information on the programs received as the EPG data and an event description, and sends to a position identification device in the navigation device (GPS) of the moving body to be set as a destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
