<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness when leaving for his or her destination, using a transportation system operated based on a timetable. <P>SOLUTION: A guide device 200 includes: a route preparation unit 231a(100) for preparing route information from an origin to a destination; a timetable preparation unit 231b (180) for preparing timetable information; a current location acquisition unit 201 for acquiring current location information; and an output unit 202 carried by a user to output information. A timetable management unit 232 calculates a first estimated arrival time when the user arrives a first station where a transportation to be used next by the user departs, on the basis of the current location information and the route information, and specifies, on the basis of the first estimated arrival time, route information and the timetable information, a first departure time when the transportation to be used next by the user departs from the first station.
