摘要

The present invention addresses the problem of preventing vibrations of an entire azimuth propeller equipped with a rudder when the azimuth propeller takes a large rudder angle. To this end, the azimuth propeller (1A) is adapted to mechanically transfer the power of a prime motor (5) installed in a vessel to drive a propeller (3) of a pod (2) provided on a hull via a strut which includes rudder-shaped portions, and allow the pod (2) to rotate integrally with the strut, wherein a weight (20) is provided in the strut as a vibration suppression mechanism for varying the natural frequency of the azimuth propeller.
