PURPOSE: An IEEE C37.94 based protective information transmitter and receiver is provided to completely prevent malfunction accidents due to external noise and lightning. CONSTITUTION: A main operation unit(110) provides an EMS function by LAN cable OR RS-232C. The main operation unit monitors an operation state of master mode and slave mode, and a self operation state and a remote state of the protective information transmitter and receiver. A clock unit(120a,120b) generates a system standard clock. An interface unit(130a,130b) transmits a protective switchboard signal to a remote system by a high speed communication network. A subscriber trunk unit(140) performs a direct telephone call function.
