PURPOSE: A wet type dust collecting apparatus is provided to generate purified gas by eliminating dust from dust containing gas. CONSTITUTION: A wet type dust collecting apparatus includes a housing(110), a plurality of slit cages(120), and at least one section plates(130). A gas inlet and a gas outlet are formed at the lower region and the upper region of the housing in order to introduce and to discharge gas. A liquid layer(113) is arranged at the bottom of the housing. A plurality of slit cages is adjacently in the housing. The insides of the slit cages are in penetrated forms. A plurality of slits(121) penetrates the outer circumference of the slit cages. The section plates are installed in the housing to be penetrated with the slit cages and divide the internal space of the housing. The liquid layer is arranged on the upper side of the section plate.
