Guava leaf extract powder and method for production thereof

摘要

The object is to provide a guava leaf extract powder which shows less deterioration in quality and functions even when stored for a long period after dissolution. Disclosed is a method for production of a guava leaf extract powder, comprising extracting a guava leaf with hot water of 90 to 98˚C, condensing the resulting extract to such an extent that the Brix sugar level reaches 20 to 30, and lyophilizing the condensed extract. Also disclosed is a guava leaf extract powder produced by the method.
