<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus and a method of using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light source apparatus includes a light guide plate which has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface and a light-incident surface connecting with the first surface and the second surface, at least one light-emitting element disposed beside the light-incident surface, and a reflecting unit disposed on the second surface.
