<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary light from entering a predetermined light receiving area of a photodetector. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup includes a first objective lens that converges light of a first wavelength passing through a first optical path to be projected onto an optical disk. The optical pickup also includes a second objective lens that converges light of a second wavelength passing through a second optical path substantially parallel to the first optical path to be projected onto the optical disk. A light shielding portion is disposed between the first optical path and the second optical path. The light shielding portion prevents unnecessary light deviating from the first optical path in the light of the first wavelength reflected by the optical disk from entering the second optical path side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
