<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system where damage caused by a relay attack is effectively suppressed by determining whether the relay attack is carried out by allowing it to have such a configuration that clock errors between a key and a vehicle owned by a regular owner are corrected by a signal transmitted from the vehicle to the key in a smart key system. <P>SOLUTION: A clock frequency of a clock disposed in the vehicle of a smart key side is detected from a polling signal transmitted from the vehicle to the smart key, and an identification signal of the smart key is sent back as the signal of the predetermined frequency by a vehicle side clock. Not only a collation of the received identification signal is carried out in the vehicle but also whether the frequency of the identification signal is proper value in view of the clock of the vehicle side is determined so that the unlocking of a door of the vehicle and an engine start are permitted only if the determination results are affirmative. A vehicle side clock is not properly generated at a key side by making a relay of a criminal intervened therein if the relay attack is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
