<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program that perform density conversion processing depending on the state of local areas in a processing object image. <P>SOLUTION: In a processing object image, an object pixel and a local area containing the object pixel are set. A spot histogram creation unit 11 creates histogram according to brightness of each pixel in the local area. A dispersion value calculation unit 12 calculates a dispersion value for brightness, or for brightness and saturation, in the local area. A density conversion unit 13 performs density conversion processing with the use of the histogram created by the histogram creation unit 11. A pixel value conversion unit 14 calculates a pixel value after conversion with regard to the object pixel on the basis of the value of the object pixel, the value obtained by the density conversion unit 13 after the density conversion processing, and the dispersion value calculated by the dispersion value calculation unit 12. For example, the smaller the dispersion value is, nearer to the value of the object pixel the calculated value is made, and the larger the dispersion value is, the nearer to the value after the density conversion processing the calculated value is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
