<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device for producing fine particles having small particle size and reduced variations in particle diameters, and to provide a method for producing fine particles. <P>SOLUTION: The device for producing the fine particles includes: a raw material supply unit for intermittently supplying a raw material for producing the fine particles into a thermal plasma flame; a plasma torch in which the thermal plasma flame is generated, which evaporates the raw material intermittently supplied by the raw material supply unit using the thermal plasma flame to form a vapor-phase mixture; and a plasma generating unit for generating the thermal plasma flame inside the plasma torch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
