<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image position detector capable of accurately detecting a position of a toner image for image position detection at a low cost, and to provide an image formation device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: light emitting means 41 for radiating light on a toner image for image position detection that is formed on a medium to be detected; a first aperture 44 for condensing a light flux emitted by the light emitting means 41 at a predetermined aperture diameter; light receiving means 42 for receiving specular reflection from the medium to be detected on which the toner image for image position detection is formed; and a second aperture 45 for condensing a light flux of the specular reflection received by the light receiving means 42 from the medium to be detected on which the toner image for image position detection is formed, at a predetermined aperture diameter; the aperture diameter of the first aperture 44 being set to be larger than that of the second aperture 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
