<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gas fire-extinguishing equipment which can reduce and suppress the sound emitted at the time of jetting fire extinguishing gas in the axial direction of a nozzle orifice 16 from a jet head 13 and reducing the reaction force in the axial direction of the nozzle orifice 16. <P>SOLUTION: A silencer 17b is provided to the jet head 13 for jetting the fire-extinguishing gas supplied from a fire-extinguishing gas supply source 15 through a conduit 14. The silencer 17b includes a cylindrical peripheral wall 35, an end wall 36 for defining an internal space 39 along with the peripheral wall 35, an attaching part 37 for attaching the peripheral wall 35 to the jet head 13 in a detachable manner and a sound absorbing material 40 housed in the internal space 39. A large number of vent holes 38 are formed to an end wall 36. The sound absorbing material 40 comprises a porous material, for example, a wire mesh, a porous metal or the like. The sound absorbing material 40 is provided so as to face to the outlet of the nozzle orifice 16 opened in the nozzle part 12 of the jet head 13 and the fire-extinguishing gas is jetted in the axial line direction L12 of the nozzle orifice 16 through the sound absorbing material 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
