<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguisher that causes less secondary damage by mixing inert gas and a fire extinguishing solution in a mixing nozzle to discharge micro mist. <P>SOLUTION: The fire extinguisher includes: a body container 12 which is equipped with a gas housing part 16 formed by filling a compressed inert gas 18 into a body container 15 and a liquid housing part 32 storing a fire extinguishing solution 14; a pressurization mechanism for pressurizing the liquid housing part 32 by the inert gas 18; a hose 38 equipped with a gas flow channel 28 for allowing the inert gas 18 to flow out and a liquid flow channel 34 for allowing the fire extinguishing solution 14 to flow out, separately; a discharge operation mechanism for opening the gas housing part 16 by lever operation to allow not only the inert gas 18 but also the fire extinguishing solution 14 pressurized by the inert gas 18 to flow out; and the mixing nozzle 44 mounted on the leading end of the hose 38 and mixing the inert gas 18 and the fire extinguishing solution 13, which are sent by the gas flow channel 28 and the liquid flow channel 34, to discharge micro mist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
