<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant application device, even if a force such as vibration is abruptly applied thereto, capable of stably applying lubricant without occurring inclination of the lubricant by preventing a contact between a frame body and the lubricant. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant application device 44 includes: solid lubricant J, and an application member 3a coming into contact with the solid lubricant while rotating, scraping off the solid lubricant as power lubricant, and applying it to an image carrier. In the lubricant application device, magnets are mounted in the direction of repulsing each other on the solid lubricant J (or a lubricant support plate 3c retaining the solid lubricant) and a frame body 3e storing the solid lubricant so as to prevent the contact of the solid lubricant J (or the lubricant support plate 3c retaining the solid lubricant) with the frame body 3e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
