PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film formation device able to maintain the space between the external peripheral surface of an object to be coated and a coating nozzle while moving the object at a constant speed.

SOLUTION: The coating film formation device 1 includes: a holding part 18 for holding a substrate 4; the coating nozzle 19 for applying coating to the external peripheral surface 4c of the substrate 4; and a moving support part 26 for moving the coating nozzle 19. The holding part 18 has a mandrel 25 passed inside the substrate 4. The upper end of the mandrel 25 has an exhaust nozzle 28 for jetting gas toward the internal peripheral surface of the substrate 4. A coating slit 19b in the coating nozzle 19, for discharging coating, is provided in a position opposite the upper end of the mandrel 25.
