<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly connect a pile and a steel column without executing site welding and to install a steel column at an appropriate position by absorbing a construction error in a vertical and a horizontal directions. <P>SOLUTION: In order to connect a cylindrically shaped pile 1 having an end plate 12 on a pile head surface 1a and a steel column 2 having a base plate 22 with bolt insertion holes 23, a pile head connection tool 3, which has a metal top plate 31 and a plurality of foot plates 32 arranged along a peripheral border of the top plate 31 keeping a distance each other with one end thereof welded to a lower surface 31b of the top plate 31, is prepared and welded to an upper end of the pile 1 in a factory. When the pile 1 is settled down, air inside a hollow section 1C is discharged to an outside through openings 35 formed between the neighboring foot plates 32. After the pile 1 is settled down, bolt insertion holes 36 are provided on the top plate 31 in accordance with a position of the steel column 2. Then, the steel column 2 is connected to the pile head connection tool 3 while adjusting a height with bolts 8 and nuts 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
