<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to not only create new stored water in a toilet bowl body after the use of a toilet without depending on the structure of a weir provided in a conventional toilet bowl body, but also make excreta together with the stored water flow down to a crushing device in the subsequent use of the toilet bowl body. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet apparatus includes: a crushing device 2 for crushing excreta together with wash water; a gate valve mechanism part 2a, openably/closably disposed between the toilet bowl body 1 and the crushing device 2, for storing the wash water as stored water in the bottom of the toilet bowl body 1; a toilet lid opening/closing detection sensor 11 for detecting the completion of the use of the toilet bowl body 1 and outputting use completion information; and a control unit 8. The control unit 8 makes the excreta and the wash water flow down from the toilet bowl body 1 to the crushing device 2 by controlling the opening of the gate valve mechanism part 2a and the opening of the wash water valve 4b based on the use completion information. Subsequently, the control unit 8 controls the closing of the gate valve mechanism part 2a and supplies an amount of wash water equivalent to an amount of the stored water in a water supply tank 4 in the opening state of the wash water valve 4b, and then controls the closing of the wash water valve 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
