PURPOSE: A stereo camera convergence angle determination method and apparatus thereof are provided to determine the convergence angle of a stereo camera by measuring a distance until an object without using other measuring apparatuses. CONSTITUTION: A convergence angle determination apparatus determines an interesting area based on the central vertical shaft of an image captured by a stereo camera. A convergence angle determination apparatus analyzes the image histogram of the interesting area(505). A driving unit is operated and establishes angles of the stereo camera(510). A distance between the stereo camera and a subject is calculated(540).
