<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode active material which includes lithium titanate with a spinel structure as a principal component, and has superior high-rate charging characteristics and a method of manufacturing the same, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode active material includes the lithium titanate with the spinel structure and a yttrium compound, and yttrium is included by 0.6 to 2.4 pts.mol for 100 pts.mol of lithium in terms of mol ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
