<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-generating apparatus which starts in a short time and is good in a thermal efficiency, in which heat conduction of a heater wound around a cylinder of a catalytic reaction section (carbon monoxide converter) of a fuel cell power facility is improved, and the catalytic reaction section with little heat dissipation is provided. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen-generating apparatus includes: a cylindrical inner tube 3; a cylindrical outer tube 2 that is arranged outside of the inner tube 3 coaxially with the inner tube, and has a helical groove part 20 recessed in a direction of the inner tube 3; a catalyst layer arranged in a cylindrical space formed between the inner tube 3 and the outer tube 2; the heater 6 that is arranged in the helical groove part 20 of the outer tube 2 and heats the catalyst layer; and a heat insulating material 19 arranged outside of the outer tube 2. An outer circumferential position 6A of the heater 6 is adjusted at an outer diameter position 2A of the outer tube 2 or lower so as to attach with no space between the heat insulating material 19 and the outer tube 2, thereby reducing heat dissipation without generating air convection between the heat insulating material 19 and the outer tube 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
