<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system capable of restricting power loss so as to reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The power system 1 includes: an input section 4 to which a DC power supply 2 of a predetermined voltage Vin is connected; constant-voltage circuits 6A-6C for supplying electric power to a load 8 of an external apparatus 3; and a system current control section 7 which controls a system current Is flowing from the input section 4 to the constant-voltage circuits 6A-6C. The constant-voltage circuits 6A-6C are connected in series between input terminals 4a, 4b of the input section 4. A current value of the system current Is is controlled to a minimum current value necessary for stable operation of the constant-voltage circuits 6A-6C by the system current control section 7. Since the constant-voltage circuits 6A-6C are connected in series, an electric current used in the constant-voltage circuit 6A is reused in the constant-voltage circuit 6B, and the electric current used in the constant-voltage circuit 6B is reused in the constant-voltage circuit 6C.
