<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, in a process for mounting a driving circuit on liquid crystal display elements having small rigidity, due to recent thinning trend of liquid crystal panel, mounting positions of a flexible circuit board is shifted by deflection and warpage of the glass plate of liquid crystal display elements, and if a member for preventing deformation is attached, it obstructs mounting operations. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit is mounted under a state that a reinforcing plate which is rigid and flat is adhered to a color filter side surface of the liquid crystal display elements via an adhesive material along a terminal row.
