<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to stably operate a portable terminal device with a touch panel by one hand. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal device comprises; an input device to detect the information regarding the location a user touched on a display screen; a first electrode on the display screen; a second electrode on a case surface of the portable terminal device; a resistance measurement means to measure a resistance value when current flows between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an operation mode switching means to switch an one hand operation mode for one hand operation by the user and a both hands operation mode for both hands operation by the user based on a measurement result by the resistance value measurement means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
