<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a phosphor comprising a nitride or an oxynitride with a homogeneous chemical composition as a mother body at a low cost without needing compression forming for acceleration of a solid phase reaction or a long time treatment for powerful crushing after baking of a nitride raw material, and without needing any expensive high-temperature and high-pressure burning furnace and so on. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the phosphor, an alloy containing two or more metallic elements constituting the phosphor is heated in a nitrogen-containing atmosphere. All of constituent metallic elements are molten, then an alloy with a homogeneous composition is made in advance, and by nitriding the alloy, the phosphor having the target nitride or oxynitride as a mother body can be readily obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
