<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a composite image with more reality in an augmented reality technology. <P>SOLUTION: A game device acquires a picked-up image from a camera, and repeats execution of recognition processing for recognizing a predetermined object included in the picked-up image, in the acquired picked-up image. The game device also generates repeatedly and displays a composite image made by combining an image of a virtual object generated using a result of the recognition processing with the picked-up image which is a subject of the recognition processing. A past picked-up image which was a subject of the successful recognition processing is combined with the image of the virtual object generated using the result of the recognition processing, when the recognition processing fails. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
