<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a linear motor comprising a stator and a movable element which are placed slidably mutually with a simple structure while controlling cost, in order to solve the problem with a conventional linear motor in which the stator is constituted by arranging a plurality of expensive permanent magnets on a magnet plate. <P>SOLUTION: A linear motor comprises: a plurality of magnetic poles made up of soft magnetic materials which are arranged fixedly in parallel with spaces therebetween; a connection tooth where a plurality of teeth around which coils are wound respectively are connected to each other at a back yoke part; a core where a plurality of permanent magnets are arranged fixedly in parallel to opposed faces of the magnetic poles so as to be hetero-polar against the adjacent permanent magnets; and a non-magnetic connecting member which couples the core with the connection tooth. Both the permanent magnets and tip parts of the teeth are arranged in parallel in the same direction as the arrangement direction of magnetic poles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
