<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus such as copying machines, facsimiles and printers in which variation in the rotating speed of a rotational body when a recording medium such as a paper is passed through a nip portion formed by bringing two rotational bodies into contact with each other also deals with a high-speed machine, and which is suppressed by a comparatively inexpensive and simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus which includes a nip portion 57 formed by bringing a first rotational body 72 and a second rotational body 64 into elastic contact with each other, and passes a recording medium S through the nip portion 57, at least one of the rotation central axis of the first rotational body 72 and the rotation central axis of the second rotational body 64 is non-parallel to the end edge of the recording medium S passing through the nip portion 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
