<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle, which is capable of suppressing power consumption and heat generation by reducing the amount of emission required for a light source for illumination. <P>SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle includes: a display part 12 which displays visible information; an illumination light source 14 which illuminates the display part; and at least one light reflecting part 20, 30 disposed on an optical path for guiding light including visible information to be displayed in the display part to a prescribed projection surface. A dichroic mirror 20 which selectively reflects light of a specific wavelength band and transmits light of the other wavelength bands is provided as the light reflecting part. Furthermore, a heat-resistant member 50 having at least a surface subjected to antireflection treatment is provided in a position on the optical path, which is irradiated with a part of external light impinging on the dichroic mirror from the projection surface side, which has been transmitted through the dichroic mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
