<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting a boiler tube leak that are easily applied to an existing boiler, and securely detect a boiler tube leak. <P>SOLUTION: A drain pipe 1 having a blow valve 3 interposed is provided at a bottom part of a casing 15 of a forced draft fan 13, and a water meter 7 is provided at an exit part of the drain pipe 1. The water meter 7 measures the quantity of water drained from the casing 15 of the forced draft fan 13 after the boiler stops operating, and sends data to a tube leak determination device 9. The tube leak determination device 9 determines whether the boiler has a tube leak from a predetermined reference value and the water quantity data sent from the water meter 7, and sends a signal to a warning device 11 when determining that a tube leak occurs to give a notice of the occurrence of the tube leak. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
