MIDDLE EAR MUCOUS MEMBRANE-LIKE CELL SHEET, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

To obtain an alternative to a middle-ear-cavity mucous membrane, which engrafts on entotympanic-bone surface, and suppresses the proliferation of granulation tissue and hyperostosis in a middle ear cavity, development of fibroblast, and the like. Nasal epithelial cells and the like are cultured on the cell culture support coated with the polymer in which the hydration force varies in the temperature range of 0 to 80°C on the surface thereof, and middle ear mucous membrane-like cells are cultured in the temperature range in which the hydration force of polymer is weak, thereafter a middle ear mucous membrane-like cell sheet retaining cilia on the surface layer is obtained by collecting a culture fluid in sheet form by varying the temperature of the culture fluid to a temperature at which the hydration force of polymer becomes strong.
