Sulpho-succinamates of structure (I) (where X is alkaline earth) metal or ammonium, R is residue of aliphatic polycarboxylic acid, R1 is 8-22 C alkenyl alkadienyl or alkatrienyl radical and Y is X or 1-5 C hydrocarbon radical) also cpds. of structure (II): Pref. X and Y are Na and pref. R1 is oleyl or octadecadienyl radical. These sulpho. succinamates are used as foam flotation collectors for the concn. of metals and are more efficient than classical materials. |
