A method and device for improving user access speed of mobile broadband internet are provided by the present invention, and the method includes that a base station receives a request for accessing packet domain service from a user; if there is the packet domain service content requested by the user in a local buffer of the base station for storing packet domain service contents, then the packet domain service content requested by the user is acquired from the local buffer of the base station for storing packet domain service contents, and the packet domain service content acquired from the local buffer of the base station for storing packet domain service contents is sent to the user; and/or, if there is no the packet domain service content requested by the user in a local buffer of the base station for storing packet domain service contents, then the packet domain service content requested by the user is acquired from a packet domain service server, and the content acquired from the packet domain service server is sent to the user.
