PURPOSE: A device for encoding a multi viewpoint image and a method thereof are provided to enable a second motion predicting unit to a real motion vector of a reference block within a relatively smaller prediction range than a first motion predicting unit. CONSTITUTION: A second motion predicting unit(40) receives an (N-1)th image and an Nth image from a second camera(20). The second motion predicting unit calculates a second motion vector by using image coordinate correction information and a first motion vector due to a first interval. The second motion predicting unit calculates a motion vector of a second block which moves between the (N-1)th image and the Nth image within a second predicting range smaller than the first predicting range based on the second block with the second motion vector. |
