High pressure fluid press for powder material blanks has a receptacle mounted on a spring chassis, with a blank contg. work chamber (I). (I) is closed by upper (II) and lower plugs which transmit axial moulding press. to upper (III) and lower cross bars of a frame which moves in horizontal translation relative to the receptacle after release of pressure in (I). Partic (III) has a hydraulic jack which exercises an axial thrust, the axial moulding thrust, on (II).
