<p>Shell core halves for a two part shell core spool housing which have to be coated with electrically insulating plastics such as epoxy resin by dipping or spraying, have the parts not to be coated blanked off by coating repellant material in a way, which does not damage the coating on removal of the blanking and allows for easier removal of the blanking. A reusable body of coating repellent material, pref. PTFE, is stuck onto the halves before coating.</p> |
