<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of controlling a device belonging to a different subnetwork. <P>SOLUTION: A media server 11 transmits a message including a service location information indicating the location of a service as destination information to an external repeater 21 via a home repeater 12. The external repeater 21 changes the destination information in the transmitted service message from the service location information to information indicating its own location. Then, the external repeater 21 leaves behind the service location information as inverse conversion information in a service message. A control point 22 creates a request message including destination information and the inverse conversion information on the basis of the service message transmitted from the external repeater 21 and transmits the request message to the external repeater 21.
