<p>A cutting plotter is provided which is capable of preventing quality deterioration of a cutting work due to bending even when the bending occurs in a guide rail which movably supports a carriage. The cutting plotter is provided with a work table which supports a sheet-shaped medium to be worked, an end mill which is provided above the medium supported on the work table to perform a cutting work for the medium, a guide rail (31), a "Y"-bar (32) and a cutting drive mechanism which are provided above the work table and support the end mill movably in the front and rear, the right and left, or the upper and lower direction, and a control unit (50) which controls to move the end mill in the front and rear, the right and left, or the upper and lower direction to perform a cutting work for the medium. The cutting plotter is further provided with a carriage shape measurement mechanism (100) for detecting bending of the guide rail (31) and the "Y"-bar (32), and a control for correcting a moving direction of the work tool is executed on the basis of the detected bending of the guide rail (31) and the "Y"-bar (32).</p> |
