<p>1331145 Transfers; transferring designs CIBA-GEIGY AG 19 April 1971 [18 Feb 1970] 21726/71 Heading B6C A transfer for use in decorating leather or leather substitutes comprises a carrier of paper, aluminium or regenerated cellulose, a layer of ethyl cellulose or a mixture of nitrocellulose and an aminoplast on the carrier and a film comprising vinyl resin and one or more pigments on the layer. The aminoplast may be a ureaformaldehyde condensate. The film may comprise pigmented vinyl resin, a laminate of unpigmented and pigmented vinyl resin layers or a laminate of unpigmented vinyl resin and pigmented acrylic resin layers. The transfer is applied to the leather, &c. using heat and pressure and the carrier stripped off.</p> |
