The unit has a bag (12) with side walls (11) whose strip-shaped wall portion is cut free at a lower end portion of the bag. An incision (21) extends parallel to a lower edge (16) of the bag at both sides of corners (13) of the bag spaced from a receiving chamber. Fold lines (22) running perpendicular to a strip-shaped wall portion (23) are formed at two ends of the strip-shaped wall portion, so that the strip-shaped wall portion is folded about the fold lines into an interior of the bag. The bag is dimensioned such that a conical beverage cup is inserted in a clamping seat in the bag.
