Combined unicast/multicast software transmission

The method involves providing central computer (6) and remote computers (7,8,11) which are interconnected by controller area network (CAN) bus or Ethernetinterface, for transfer of data. The remote computers (7,8) are configured to perform the multicast transmission process (5) of software module (3) and the central computer (6) are configured to perform unicast transmission process (4) of software modules (1,2).
