<p>The moulding is cast into a mould tool from a liquid plastics dispersion and before curing a coating of chopped artificial or natural fibres longer that the desired lining thickness, is applied to the interior. An expandable bag whose blown up shape conforms to the inside of the moulding, is then inserted and blown up until it fills the moulding and exerts a gentle pressure on the fibres embedding them directly in the still plastic moulding or into an intermediate bonding coating. The bag is then withdrawn, after collapsing, and the mould tool heated to cure the moulding which is finally and unmoulded. Secure fixing method compared to cut sheet and adhesive etc.</p> |
