The present invention is to provide an electrostatic induction generator that achieves improvement of power generation efficiency. An electrostatic induction generator 100 includes: a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20, which can move relatively while remaining opposed to each other; an electret 13 that is provided in the first substrate 10; and a first electrode 21 and a second electrode 22, which are provided on a surface side opposed to the electret 13 in the second substrate 20. In the electrostatic induction generator 100, an electrostatic capacitance between the electret 13 and the first electrode 21 and an electrostatic capacitance between the electret 13 and the second electrode 22 change to output an electric power, and a structure that decreases the electrostatic capacitance between the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 is provided between the electrodes. |
