The household appliance has a usable space container provided with a plastic shaped part. The plastic shaped part is connected with an adjacent wall part (19,20,21) of another material. The wall part is provided with an edge area, which is embedded in plastic material of the plastic shaped part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a household appliance, particularly dishwasher.
