摘要 An integral System for Measuring and Detecting Electric Power Thefts, which is based on: a software for administrating and managing the measurement data; Measurement Hubs; Intelligent Electronic Meters; Mirror Meters; Current Meters in medium voltage lines; Electronic Meters with a mechanism for connecting-disconnecting the power supply; Electronic Modules for the reconversion of electromechanical meters of electric power for the remote reading thereof and detection of electric power theft. Remote Display Modules; a Metropolitan Area Network based on a GPRS service or optionally on a Telephonic Line or Radiofrequency of long-range or communication through the electric network in medium voltage. The software for the administration and management of the measurement data is located in a server connected to the Internet of the Electricity Company, which allows three different hierarchy levels to be accessed by the authorized personnel of the Electricity Company that include the informatio n related to consumption, charge profiles and detection of the unduly appropriation of the electric power through a graphic display Interface in a Web environment; this software is remotely communicated with the Measurement Hubs by a GPRS network, this performing the connection/disconnection from the power supply of each user in a remote manner; it is also useful to equip the already installed Electromechanical and Electronic Meters of the Electricity Company with remote reading functionalities, without interfering with the measurement operation and accuracy thereof; the software performs normal measurements in medium voltage lines; besides acquiring the information related to consumption, charge profiles and events referring to the loss of energy from the Electronic meters and Electronic Modules for the Reconversion of Electronic and Electromechanical Meters of Electric power for the remote reading thereof and detection of electric power theft, the software performs the measurement o f the consumed electric energy in the user s connection in a parallel manner to the billing meter; the invention performs a balance of the real consumed energy measured by the Mirror Meters to each user and that registered by the billing meters installed in the measurement points of the Electricity company; also performs a balance of the real energy supplied by the transformers to the Measurement Hubs and the total energy registered by the whole users; measurement Hub uses communication by Radiofrequency (RF), Electric Line (PLC) and signal RS-485 for collecting the information acquired by each one of the Electronic Modules that integrate the system and for sending the information related to electric energy consumption and billing to the Remote Display Modules; the inventive system is able to operate as a prepayment system of electric energy by receiving encoded information corresponding to the amount of energy that is to be recharged by means of the Remote Display Module or directly from the offices of the Electricity Company by means of their own communication network, which is scalable, i.e., that it may be increased depending on the number of hubs and measurement points required by the Electricity Company.
